The Mahi River creates a hundred islands at Banswara.
At Chacha Kota, fifteen kilometres from the city, the backwater of the Mahi Bajaj Sagar Dam spreads across forty kilometres of terrain - leaving dozens of islets scattered across the water. "City of Hundred Islands." Also called the "Cherrapunji of Rajasthan" - it receives the state's highest rainfall. The greenest city in Rajasthan.
Named after a Bhil ruler, Bansia (or Wasna), who governed the area before being defeated by Jagmal Singh - the founder of the princely state in 1577. Over 75% of Banswara district's population is Scheduled Tribe - predominantly Bhil - among the highest tribal concentrations anywhere in India. The Arthuna ruins (10th-12th century temples) are among the district's significant archaeological sites.
Population 1,797,485. Vagad region of southern Rajasthan.
Rajasthan has Sainik School Chittorgarh - 67% Rajasthan state quota. Banswara families compete within Rajasthan only.
Banswara's 75%+ tribal population, predominantly Bhil, is genuinely rich in cultural heritage. None of it affects Intelligence section preparation, because pattern recognition, number series, analogies, and spatial reasoning are completely absent from school curricula regardless of community or geography.
Untrained: 20-25%. After 16 weeks from April: 70-80%.
Pattern recognition - the four-phase development arc
Phase 1 (Weeks 1-4): Scanning reflex formation - orientation, count, shading, form, checked systematically. 38-46%.
Phase 2 (Weeks 5-8): Compound detection. Two rules simultaneously. Requires Phase 1's automaticity. 55-65%.
Phase 3 (Weeks 9-12): Speed compression to AISSEE ↗'s 30-40 second pace. 65-72%.
Phase 4 (Weeks 13-16): Full AISSEE mocks, section diagnosis. 70-80%.
October: Phase 2 half-formed. 55-60%.
Number series - agricultural Banswara and the recognition requirement
Maize, wheat, rice, cotton, soybean agriculture creates practical commercial arithmetic. The AISSEE trap is standard: confident calculators run out of time on complex series. Recognition built from April across 15+ types is the only fix.
Analogies and spatial reasoning
Verbal: Wagdi-Hindi-Rajasthani multilingual. Bhil cultural traditions create strong oral storytelling instincts. 64-70% verbal accuracy without training. Numerical and logical: 6 weeks each.
Spatial - Banswara's terrain advantage: Aravalli hills to the east, Mahi River valley with islands and dam terrain. Above-flat-plains baseline. First-mock: 26-33%. April training: 66-74%. October: 48-57%.
"City of Hundred Islands" (Mahi Bajaj Sagar backwaters): India's unique geographic features - testable.
Bhil tribe: India's largest tribal community by some counts, their geography across Rajasthan-MP-Gujarat - testable tribal GK.
Arthuna archaeological ruins (10th-12th century): ancient/medieval India temple architecture - testable.
Mahi Bajaj Sagar Dam: Rajasthan's major dams - testable.
Eight students. One specialist per section. Weekly mocks. Section-wise diagnosis. October conversation. OMR from day one.
