🎯 Quick Quiz - Gujarat

Question 1 of 5

1. From which class does Sainik School admission begin?

Personal Attention For Every Student

Small batches at sainikguru.com work better. Only 15 students per class. Our Sainik School coaching gives you real attention. You're not just a number here.

Sainik School Balachadi Target

Sainik School Balachadi in Jamnagar is one of India's two original Sainik Schools, established 1961. We build the plan around the Gujarat state-quota edge for Balachadi.

GSEB & Gujarati-Medium Bridging

Gujarat has CBSE, GSEB state-board and Gujarati-medium schools. AISSEE tests the CBSE Class 5 syllabus, so we bridge that gap subject by subject, bilingually where needed.

Intelligence Section Focus

No Gujarat school teaches pattern recognition, spatial reasoning or number series. We drill the Intelligence section from day one, since it usually decides the cut-off.

Statewide Live Online Classes

From Ahmedabad and Surat to Rajkot, Vadodara and Jamnagar, our live classes reach students in every Gujarat city. No dedicated AISSEE coaching needed nearby.

Weekly OMR Mock Tests

Full-length timed OMR papers every Sunday, reviewed individually. Fifteen to twenty before January, so the real exam feels familiar.

What Parents from Gujarat Say

Real stories from families whose children prepared with Sainik Guru.

"My son was strong in academics but the Reasoning section was completely new to him. The teachers worked on Intelligence separately, and the weekly OMR mocks made the actual exam feel familiar. He cleared AISSEE for Sainik School Balachadi in the first attempt."

Hitesh Patel

Ahmedabad, Gujarat

"There is no dedicated Sainik School coaching in Surat, so the online batch was a blessing. Live classes daily, real teachers, tests every Sunday. My daughter prepared for Class 6 from home and never felt she missed a classroom. Fees were reasonable too."

Nilesh Shah

Surat, Gujarat

"My boy studies in a Gujarati-medium school, so we worried about the CBSE-based questions. The coaching bridged that gap properly, especially in Maths, and the teachers explained patiently in both languages. OMR practice was done well before the exam."

Bhavna Desai

Vadodara, Gujarat

"We joined the online batch from Rajkot. The GK and current affairs tests really helped my son improve. A bit more individual attention was needed at the start, but overall the preparation was structured and honest."

Jignesh Mehta

Rajkot, Gujarat

"We are from Jamnagar, close to Balachadi itself, and joined the online batch. What I valued most was the honesty, no false promises of guaranteed selection, just a clear plan and weekly updates. After ten months he got his seat. Worth every rupee."

Falguni Joshi

Jamnagar, Gujarat

Sainik School Coaching in Gujarat

Gujarat has a quiet but deep military thread. Sainik School Balachadi, near Jamnagar, was one of the very first two Sainik Schools in the country when the system began in 1961. Generations of Gujarati boys, and now girls, have passed through it into the National Defence Academy and the armed forces. The uniform is not new to this state.

So when a Gujarat child dreams of the Army, Navy or Air Force, the path is real and it starts close to home. But the first gate is a hard exam: the AISSEE ↗ for Sainik School. That is where Sainik Guru comes in.

For over a decade we have prepared students from across Gujarat for AISSEE, RMS and RIMC. Our coaching starts from one honest truth, a Gujarat child has specific needs. Strong schools, but a wide split between CBSE, GSEB state-board and Gujarati-medium students, and very little AISSEE-focused coaching in most cities. We build the programme around that reality, not against it.

Which Sainik School Do Gujarat Students Aim For?

This is the first question most families ask, and Gujarat has a real advantage. Gujarat students fall under the state quota for Sainik School Balachadi in Jamnagar district, established in 1961 and one of the two original Sainik Schools in India. A Gujarat child competes within the state quota, so Balachadi is the home-state target, right inside the state. The exam pattern is set nationally and the merit list is drawn state-wise.

Being a Gujarat student does not soften the paper though. AISSEE is the same exam everywhere. Only preparation turns the state quota into an actual seat.

The CBSE Gap Most Gujarat Families Miss

Here is something specific to Gujarat. The state has CBSE schools alongside a very large number of GSEB state-board and Gujarati-medium schools. The AISSEE is built on the CBSE Class 5 syllabus. A bright child from a GSEB or Gujarati-medium school can lose easy marks simply because the framing and language of the questions are different, not because they lack ability.

We bridge that gap subject by subject, bilingually where needed. Maths gets the heaviest attention because it is half the paper, 150 of the 300 marks. GK, Language and Intelligence carry 50 marks each.

The Intelligence Section, Where Gujarat Students Lose Marks

Here is the honest part. Gujarat has hard-working students and serious parents. And still, the Intelligence section catches almost every Gujarat child cold in January.

It is not about ability. No school in Gujarat, CBSE or GSEB, teaches pattern recognition, number series tricks, mirror images, cube nets or paper folding. School rewards memory and neat work. The Intelligence section rewards a different skill, spotting hidden rules fast under a ticking clock. The child who drills AISSEE-pattern problems from April gets there. The one who starts in October usually runs out of time before the pattern library is built.

What We Cover, Section by Section

  • Mathematics: Number system, arithmetic, geometry, problem solving. Half the paper, so it gets the most class time, with extra care for GSEB and Gujarati-medium students.
  • Intelligence and Reasoning: Pattern series, analogies, spatial reasoning. Started from day one because it decides the result.
  • General Knowledge: National events, defence updates, geography and current affairs. Tested every week.
  • Language (English and Hindi): Grammar, comprehension, vocabulary. Bilingual teaching, because the AISSEE paper itself is bilingual.

Online Coaching Across Every Gujarat City

From Ahmedabad and Surat to Vadodara, Rajkot and Gandhinagar, our live online batch reaches students in every corner of Gujarat. Same teachers, same Sunday OMR mocks, same study material, wherever the child lives. This matters because most Gujarat cities have no dedicated AISSEE coaching, and daily travel to a metro is simply not realistic for a ten-year-old.

For families who want the residential setup, the offline option with hostel is there, with proper food, a monitored study hall and wardens on duty. Distance stops being the barrier, and the Balachadi advantage stays within reach.

AISSEE Timeline for a Gujarat Family

  • April to June: Foundation. Bridging the GSEB to CBSE gap, locking basics, mapping weak areas.
  • July to September: Topic mastery. Daily classes, section-wise tests, Intelligence drilled hard.
  • October: Registration window. We handle documents, photos and centre selection (Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat or Vadodara) for every enrolled student.
  • November to December: Full OMR mock test series, one timed paper every Sunday, reviewed individually, backed by previous papers and practice sets.
  • January: AISSEE exam day.
  • March to April: Medical round and counselling for Sainik School Balachadi.

Miss the October window and the child waits a full year. Every batch, one or two families forget. We remind them twice. We try hard so it is not you.

Affordable Fees With No Hidden Costs

No guaranteed-selection drama from our side. What we offer is a full programme, real mocks, individual attention and honest updates. Fees are kept affordable with no hidden costs, because not every Gujarat family wants to spend lakhs on coaching, and we know that.

Gujarat has sent its children into the forces for generations, and with Sainik School Balachadi standing on its own coast since 1961, the path has always been close to home. Give your child a structured shot at it. Reach Sainik Guru today, fill the form, and we call back the same day on working days.
