AISSEE - The Intelligence Arc, Built Week by Week

Pattern recognition, number series, analogies, spatial reasoning. Absent from every school curriculum. Untrained: 20-25%. After 16 weeks from April: 70-80%.

Pattern recognition - why each phase has a specific minimum duration

Phase 1 (Weeks 1-4) builds the scanning checklist: rotation, count, shading, form. This minimum duration exists because the checklist must become reflexive - not something the child consciously recites, but something the eye does automatically when looking at a sequence. Reflexes form through repetition, not explanation. 38-46%.

Phase 2 (Weeks 5-8) builds compound detection: the habit of checking for a second rule after finding the first. This requires Phase 1's reflexes to already be in place - otherwise there's no spare cognitive capacity for the second check. 55-65%.

Phase 3 (Weeks 9-12) builds speed: the entire process - scan, detect, verify, answer - compressed into 30-40 seconds. 65-72%.

Phase 4 (Weeks 13-16): full AISSEE ↗ mocks, diagnosis by pattern type, targeted reinforcement. 70-80%.

October start arrives at January with Phase 2 incomplete - the compound detection habit not yet automatic. 55-60%.

Number series - Batala's industrial arithmetic and the recognition requirement

Batala's cast-iron and machinery manufacturing economy creates children with strong technical arithmetic - precision measurements, ratios, production calculations.

The AISSEE number series section doesn't test this kind of arithmetic. It tests whether a child can identify, from the first three terms, which of 15+ series types a sequence belongs to - and answer in 6-10 seconds rather than calculate in 50-90.

Weekly mock practice from April exposes children to all 15+ types repeatedly. By August: functional recognition. By November: automatic.

Analogies and spatial reasoning

Verbal: Punjabi background, Majha region's strong oral and devotional literary tradition (proximity to Amritsar's Sikh scholarly tradition). 67-74% verbal accuracy without training - among the higher Punjab baselines. Numerical and logical: 6 weeks each.

Spatial: Batala is Majha plains - relatively flat, slightly elevated (249m) compared to deep Malwa plains. First-mock: 19-25%. April training: 63-71%. October: 45-54%.

GK - Guru Nanak's Wedding, Iron Bird of Asia, Majha Region

Babe Da Viah and Gurdwara Kandh Sahib: Sikh history, Guru Nanak's biography - specifically testable AISSEE cultural and religious history GK.

Gurdwara Satkartarian Sahib (Guru Hargobind, 6th Guru): Sikh Gurus' history and geography - testable.

"Iron Bird of Asia" (Batala's industrial heritage): India's industrial city nicknames - testable.

Batala as 2nd-oldest Punjab city: state historical geography - testable.

Majha region: Punjab's three cultural-geographic regions (Majha, Malwa, Doaba) - testable.
