Bidriware is made only in Bidar.
Not a brand claim. A geographic fact. The metal craft of Bidriware - zinc-copper alloy, blackened with soil from inside Bidar Fort, inlaid with silver - exists nowhere else. The craft requires Bidar's specific soil to achieve the signature black finish. If the same process is used outside Bidar, the blackening doesn't work the same way.
Bidriware has UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage consideration and is GI-tagged. The metal inlay work - geometric patterns, floral motifs - developed under the Bahmani Sultanate and Bidar Sultanate in the 14th-16th centuries. Bidar was the capital of the Bahmani Sultanate after it shifted from Gulbarga in 1422.
Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, visited Bidar in the early 16th century. At the time, the city had water scarcity - legend holds that Guru Nanak struck a rock and water sprang forth. Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Sahib was built at this spot. It draws Sikh pilgrims from across India and is considered the second holiest Sikh site in South India.
The district was part of Hyderabad State before independence. It was liberated on September 17, 1948 - when Indian forces under Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's "Operation Polo" (also called Police Action) ended the Hyderabad Nizam's resistance and integrated Hyderabad into India.
Name from "Bidiru" - bamboo. Borders Telangana (south) and Maharashtra (north). Population 1.70 million. Literacy 61.21%.
Karnataka has Sainik School Kodagu and Sainik School Bijapur (Karnataka state quota). Bidar children with Karnataka domicile compete within Karnataka's quota pool.
Pattern recognition: 16-week arc from April - 70-80%. October: 55-65%.
Bidriware craftsmen create intricate geometric inlay patterns - the silver inlay follows complex pattern sequences across zinc-copper forms. Children from Bidriware families have strong visual pattern cognition from craft exposure. Among the most direct pattern-recognition advantages from any single craft tradition we see in preparation data.
Number series: Agricultural and crafts economy. Commercial arithmetic. AISSEE ↗ trap: calculation replacing recognition. April practice.
Analogies: Kannada-Urdu bilingual (significant Muslim population, part of former Hyderabad state where Urdu was official). Strong vocabulary. Verbal analogy: 66-73% without training. Numerical and logical: six weeks each. Combined: +8-12 marks.
Spatial reasoning: Northern Deccan plateau. Relatively flat. First-mock accuracy: 20-26%. April training: 63-70%. October: 45-54%.
Bidriware (GI tagged, UNESCO consideration): India's GI-tagged crafts - specifically testable. Only craft in the world that requires soil from one specific location (Bidar Fort).
Operation Polo / Police Action (September 17, 1948): Hyderabad integration, Sardar Patel, the last princely state to join India - among AISSEE's most tested modern India history events. September 17 is now celebrated as Telangana Liberation Day and Hyderabad Liberation Day.
Bahmani Sultanate (capital shifted to Bidar 1422): medieval Deccan history - testable.
Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Sahib: Sikh pilgrimage geography, Guru Nanak's travels - testable religious geography GK.
Borders Telangana and Maharashtra: India's state boundary geography - testable.
Gap areas: defence organisation, constitutional articles, science GK. Systematic coverage from April adds 10-15 marks.
Eight students. One specialist per section. Weekly mocks. Real format. Section-wise diagnosis. October conversation. OMR from day one. Medical round throughout.
Class 6 - Age 10-12. March 31 cutoff. Class 9 - Age 13-15. March 31 cutoff. Check now.
5,448 sq km, 5 talukas, 620 villages. Online batch serves all areas equally.
Families compare notes - some checking Sainik school coaching in Telangana fees - because when preparation works, the craft inlay name stops mattering.
April: Bidriware pattern recognition advantage amplified, Operation Polo GK activated, Intelligence completes. January - prepared.
October: week 10, pattern recognition advantage underused. January first.
Bidriware artists inlay silver into zinc-copper forms one precise stroke at a time - rushed work produces uneven inlay and wasted metal. AISSEE preparation requires the same precision from April.
