Sainik School Coaching in Bokaro

Sainik School Tilaiya - one of India's original 12 Sainik Schools, established in 1963 near Tilaiya Dam in Koderma district - is Jharkhand's own Sainik School. It is roughly 120 kilometres from Bokaro.

The school has 118 Class 6 seats - the largest intake of any Sainik School in the country. Of those, 78 are reserved for Jharkhand domicile students. A child from Bokaro, Chas, Chandankiyari, Gomia or Petarbar holds a Jharkhand domicile. They compete only among Jharkhand students for those 78 seats.

78 seats is not a small number. For a well-prepared child from Bokaro, this is a genuine, achievable target.

But achievable is not automatic. Those 78 seats go to whoever scores highest within Jharkhand. Every seat is earned in the exam, not given because of the domicile.

Why the AISSEE Requires More Than School Preparation

The exam covers Maths, GK, Language and Intelligence for Class 6 - all CBSE Class 5 curriculum. Nothing unfamiliar in the content. The challenge is elsewhere.

Eligibility

Girls can apply for Class 6. Sainik School Tilaiya has 12 girl seats in Class 6 - with seats split between Jharkhand and other states. Jharkhand girl seats are competitive. Start early.
