The Exam - What Your Child Is Facing

NTA conducts AISSEE. Every January.

Class 6 - Age 10 to 12 years (as of March 31 of exam year) Maths · English · General Knowledge · Intelligence Test

Class 9 - Age 13 to 15 years (as of March 31 of exam year) Maths · English · GK · Science · Social Studies

Check the date of birth right now - before anything else. March 31 is the hard cutoff. One day over the age limit means waiting a full year. It sounds like a small thing until it happens to your child.

Also - minimum qualifying marks are 25% per subject and 40% aggregate. Clearing written takes the child to the medical. Both have to be cleared for selection.
