Sainik School Coaching in Muktsar (Punjab)

40 Sikhs who had deserted their Guru came back and died here.

During the siege of Anandpur Sahib (1704), 40 Sikhs signed a "bedava" - a letter declaring they were no longer the disciples of Guru Gobind Singh. They went home.

A Sikh woman named Mai Bhago (Mata Bhag Kaur) heard about this and was furious. She shamed them. She led them back toward the Guru. At Khidrāne dee Dhāb - a pond in present-day Muktsar - they found Guru Gobind Singh engaged with the Mughal forces of Wazir Khan on December 29, 1705.

The 40 fought the Mughals. They all died. Guru Gobind Singh found their leader, Maha Singh, dying on the battlefield. He tore up the bedava - destroyed the letter of desertion. He called them "Muktas" - the liberated ones. The pond became Muktsar: Mukta (liberated) + sar (pond). The Liberation Pond.

Guru Angad, the 2nd Sikh Guru, was born in Matte-di-Sarai village in this district.

Population 902,702. Literacy 65.81% - second lowest in Punjab.

Punjab has Sainik School Kapurthala - 67% Punjab state quota. Muktsar families compete within Punjab only.

AISSEE - Eight Months Build What School Cannot

Two gaps for Muktsar children: English comprehension (literacy 65.81%) and Intelligence. Both need the full April arc.

Intelligence: 20-25% untrained. 70-80% after 16 weeks from April.

Pattern recognition - the precise phases

Phase 1 (Weeks 1-4): Scanning reflex. Checking orientation, count, shading, form automatically. 38-46%.

Phase 2 (Weeks 5-8): Compound detection. Two rules simultaneously. Requires Phase 1 to be reflexive. 55-65%.

Phase 3 (Weeks 9-12): Speed at AISSEE β†— pace. 65-72%.

Phase 4 (Weeks 13-16): Full mocks, diagnosis. 70-80%.

October: Phase 1 just complete, Phase 2 barely started. 52-58%.

Number series - 15 types, recognition not calculation

Agricultural Muktsar economy produces practical arithmetic. The standard AISSEE trap: complex series cannot be calculated in 45 seconds. Fibonacci, factorial, prime-based series require recognition or they cannot be done in time.

April: 20 exposures per type. By November: automatic recognition.

Analogies and spatial reasoning

Verbal: Punjabi dominant. 64-70% verbal accuracy without training. Numerical and logical: 6 weeks each.

Spatial: Flat Malwa plains. First-mock: 16-22%. April training: 60-68%. October: 42-51%.

GK - 40 Muktas, Battle of Muktsar, Guru Angad

Battle of Muktsar (December 29, 1705): the 40 Muktas, Mai Bhago's role, bedava torn, the naming of Muktsar - specifically testable Sikh history GK. One of the most tested events in AISSEE Sikh history.

Gurdwara Tuti Gandi Sahib ("Tuti gandi" = broken ties): Muktsar's main Gurdwara - testable.

Mai Bhago (Mata Bhag Kaur): one of Sikhism's heroic women - testable.

Guru Angad (Nanak II, 2nd Sikh Guru) born in this district: Sikh Gurus' geography - testable.

Magh Mela (January 12-13 annually at Muktsar): Sikh festivals - testable.
