There's a boy in Asarganj block whose father works at the Jamalpur Railway Workshop.
Third generation at that workshop. Grandfather joined in 1971. Father joined in 1998. The boy - twelve years old, sharp, good in school - doesn't want to join the workshop. He wants a uniform.
His father called us in November. AISSEE was in January. Two months away.
We told him what we tell every family who calls that late - it's possible, but we're already behind. April is when this should have started.
The Ganga wraps around this city on three sides. Munger fort has stood since before the Mughal era. Munger's gun factories were famous enough that the British kept them running after 1857. The Ordinance Gun Factory still operates here. In December 2025, Bihar officially declared Munger a Civil Defence District - a formal recognition of what the district has always been.
This is a place where the connection to defence runs deep and old.
Families in Kharagpur, Tarapur, Bariapur, Sangrampur - they understand what service means. Not abstractly. Through people they actually know.
Bihar has two Sainik Schools - Nalanda and Gopalganj. Both rank among the country's best. 67% of their seats go to Bihar domicile students. That's a structural advantage that Munger families should be using. Not enough of them are.
The Asarganj father enrolled his son. They worked hard for two months. The child was motivated, attentive, did everything asked of him.
January came. Intelligence section was rough. GK left gaps. The score wasn't enough.
Two months is not enough time - and it's not because the child wasn't capable. It's because the Intelligence reasoning section alone needs six to eight weeks just to get comfortable. Not to master. Just to stop being unfamiliar.
AISSEE doesn't test school knowledge. It tests pattern recognition, analogies, series, and spatial reasoning that no school in Munger - or anywhere in Bihar - covers in their curriculum. GK questions come from angles that Class 5 textbooks don't go near. Maths is formatted to mislead.
School preparation and AISSEE preparation are two separate things. Treating them as the same thing is the mistake that costs children their selection every single year.
Small batches first. Not negotiable.
When a teacher has thirty students, they move through the syllabus. When they have eight or ten, they notice who's been getting reasoning wrong every week. They stop. They go back. They find out why and fix it before the exam arrives.
That's not a marketing claim. It's the actual mechanism that changes results.
The rest -
Parents hear the honest version throughout. Not a comfortable version.
NTA conducts it. Every January.
Class 6 - Age 10 to 12 years (hard cutoff: March 31 of exam year) Maths · English · General Knowledge · Intelligence Test
Class 9 - Age 13 to 15 years (hard cutoff: March 31 of exam year) Maths · English · GK · Science · Social Studies
Check the date of birth right now. Before planning anything. March 31 is the cutoff - no appeals, no exceptions. A child who turns 13 on April 3 cannot appear for Class 9 that year. It happens to families who don't check early. Check today.
Munger district stretches across 9 blocks and 534 villages. Dharahara, Tetia Bambar, Kharagpur, Bariapur - daily travel to a coaching centre isn't realistic for most families here.
The Sainik school coaching online batch covers all of it. Live classes on fixed days. Recorded sessions available through the entire week. Sunday mock test every week. WhatsApp for doubts between sessions.
A student in Sangrampur block gets what a student in Munger town gets. Same teachers. Same tests. Same honest feedback after every mock.
Students from very different parts of India join too - some comparing Sainik school coaching in Telangana options, others checking Sainik school coaching in Telangana fees - because when coaching genuinely works, geography stops being the barrier.
Two versions of the same year.
Version one - family starts in October. Three months. Content covered quickly. Mock tests compressed. Intelligence section rushed. January arrives and the child feels like they ran out of road.
Version two - family starts in April. Eight months. Content finished by July. Weak areas found in August and worked on through September. October and November are full mock tests. December is about confidence. January - the child walks in calm.
Same exam. Different story.
No guaranteed selections from SainikGuru. Anyone who says that word - guaranteed - isn't being straight with you.
What we offer - full syllabus, real mock tests, individual attention, OMR practice, medical round awareness, and honest parent communication throughout. Everything within our control, properly done.
After that, it's between your child and the paper.
What most parents say once the program is done, win or lose - "We didn't leave anything undone."
That's what's on offer here.
