Rudyard Kipling called them the "Seeonee Hills." He named the river the Wainganga. Both are real - the Seoni Hills and the Wainganga River are in this district. In 1831, a British officer named Lieutenant Moor found a wolf-boy in the forests near Seoni. William Sleeman documented it. Kipling read Sleeman. Mowgli was born.

What AISSEE Tests - The Four Intelligence Sub-Types

School prepares children for three of four AISSEE ↗ sections. The Intelligence section requires separate preparation.

Pattern recognition, number series, analogies, spatial reasoning - all four are absent from every school curriculum. Untrained accuracy: 20-25%. After 16 weeks from April: 70-80%.

Here is exactly what each sub-type requires.

Pattern recognition

A sequence of figures where each follows a hidden rule. The child must identify the rule and predict the next figure.

School never asks children to find hidden rules. School gives rules and asks children to apply them. AISSEE reverses this completely.

The training builds one framework per week:

• Week 1-2: rotation detection. When shapes rotate between frames - 90°, 180°, clockwise, anticlockwise - trained children learn to check orientation first.
• Week 3-4: element counting. When elements inside a shape increase or decrease by a consistent amount.
• Week 5-8: compound patterns. Two rules operating simultaneously. This is where most children fail without training - they see one rule and miss the second.
• Week 9-12: number-based patterns. The same derivation process applied to numerical sequences.
• Week 13-16: full AISSEE mocks. Real timing. Real OMR. Section-wise diagnosis identifying exactly which pattern type each child fails.

Week-16 accuracy: 70-80%. October start reaches week 10: 55-60%.

Number series

15+ series types appear in AISSEE: geometric, arithmetic, triangular numbers, perfect squares, perfect cubes, Fibonacci-based, alternating, second-order AP, ratio-based, prime-based, and combinations.

A child who has seen each type 20 times over four months from April recognises them on sight. Six seconds to answer. A child seeing them for the first time calculates - 60-90 seconds. AISSEE allows 45 seconds. The calculator runs out of time.

Seoni children from agricultural backgrounds have strong practical arithmetic. This is a genuine AISSEE foundation - but it needs to be converted from calculation speed to type recognition through April practice.

Analogies

Three types. Verbal analogies: Hindi background gives 65-72% accuracy without training. One-third of the section.

Numerical analogies: 5:25::6:36 (squares), 2:8::3:27 (cubes). No language advantage. Six weeks from April: 30% to 70%+.

Logical/figure analogies: transformation rules applied to shapes. No language or Maths advantage. Six weeks: 20% to 65%+.

Spatial reasoning

Seoni's Satpura hills and Pench forest terrain - 35% forest cover, hilly topography - create stronger spatial baseline than flat plains. First-mock accuracy: 26-33%. April training: 65-73%. October: 47-55%.
