Jiradei village is in Siwan district.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad - India's first President - was born there. The man who signed the Constitution of India. From a village in Siwan.
That's not a footnote. That's what this district produces when ambition meets preparation.
And right now, in thousands of homes across Darauli, Maharajganj, Husainaganj, Guthani, Pachrukhi - families want exactly that for their children. A Sainik School seat. A uniform. A future in service.
Most of them won't get it. Not because they don't deserve it. Because they're preparing wrong.
This is the part most families miss.
Gopalganj district - which was literally carved out of Siwan in 1973 - has one of Bihar's two Sainik Schools. It's practically next door.
Bihar's Sainik Schools reserve 67% of seats for Bihar domicile students. Siwan families aren't competing against Karnataka or Haryana. Just Bihar.
That's a structural advantage sitting right there. Most families in Raghunathpur, Andar, Baraharia, Daraunda aren't using it. Not because they're unaware of Sainik Schools - they're not. Because they haven't prepared specifically for AISSEE.
That's the gap. That's the whole problem.
The district government's own records describe Siwan as famous for its "sturdy Bhojpuris, always noted for their martial spirit." During 1857, Siwan men served under Kunwar Singh. Families here understand service. It's in the history.
But AISSEE doesn't score martial spirit. It scores Maths, English, GK, and Intelligence - in formats that most children here have never encountered.
The Intelligence section. Pattern recognition, analogies, number series, spatial reasoning. Ask any child in Goriyakothi block or Hasanpura whether they've seen this before.
They haven't. Because it's not in any school syllabus anywhere.
A child who walks into AISSEE having only done school preparation will spend fifteen minutes in the Intelligence section feeling completely lost. Not because they're weak. Because nobody showed them what this looks like.
That's not a talent gap. That's a preparation gap.
Small batches. That's where it starts.
Eight to ten students per batch. Not thirty.
Because with eight, the teacher sees the child who's been wrong on Intelligence questions six weeks straight - and stops the class. Finds out exactly which type of question. Fixes it in September, not after results in March.
That moment - catching the problem while there's still time - is where selections happen.
The program -
One more thing. Parents hear the difficult news in October. Not in March.
NTA runs AISSEE every January.
Class 6 - Age 10 to 12 years (March 31 cutoff - absolute) Maths ยท English ยท General Knowledge ยท Intelligence Test
Class 9 - Age 13 to 15 years (March 31 cutoff - absolute) Maths ยท English ยท GK ยท Science ยท Social Studies
Stop. Check the date of birth right now. Before reading further. March 31 is the hard age cutoff - one day past it means a full year's wait. Families in Jiradei, Nautan, Bhagwanpur miss this every cycle. Don't be one of them.
Nineteen blocks. 1,528 villages. The Ghaghara marks the southern border, UP is on two sides - Siwan is not a compact district.
Husainaganj, Goriyakothi, Pachrukhi, Baraharia - daily travel to coaching isn't how life works in these areas.
The Sainik school coaching online batch is the complete program. Live classes on fixed days. Recordings available all week. Sunday mock test every week without fail. WhatsApp for doubts.
A student in Daraunda block gets identical teaching to one in Siwan town. Same teachers. Same tests. Same section breakdown after every mock.
Students from much farther away join too - some comparing Sainik school coaching in Telangana options, others checking Sainik school coaching in Telangana fees - because once the coaching genuinely works, the address stops being relevant.
Two families. One exam. January.
Family one starts in April. Eight months. Content done by July. Weak areas found in August - reasoning gaps, GK blind spots, English comprehension. Fixed through September. By October, full mocks running. December - calm, confident. January, the child walks in having done this twenty times.
Family two starts in October. Three months. Everything at once. Content and mocks and weak area work all compressed. Always catching up. Never ahead. January arrives and it shows.
Same paper. Different story inside that hall.
The decision gets made in April. Or doesn't. Both have consequences that land in March.
No guaranteed selections. That word doesn't appear here.
Full syllabus. Real mock tests. Individual attention. OMR practice. Medical round awareness. Honest parent updates. Everything within our control - done properly.
After that - your child and the paper.
Most parents who finish the program say the same thing: "Whatever happened, we didn't leave anything behind."
That's the offer.
