The signal from Sarahan in Himachal Pradesh travels to Tosham first.

Haryana Police uses a wireless relay chain - Sarahan hill in Himachal Pradesh transmits to Tosham Hill, which boosts and relays to Takdi Hill in Rewari. From Tosham, the signal covers six district headquarters: Bhiwani, Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa, Rohtak, Jhajjar. This hill - at the foot of the Aravalli range - is a communications node for western Haryana.

Pre-Indus Valley Civilisation mining and smelting evidence was found at the Khanak hills of the Tosham range. A 4th-century BCE Sanskrit rock inscription from the Gupta era stands here. Prithviraj Chauhan built the Baradari at Tosham before his reign ended at the Second Battle of Tarain. This is a place of quiet historical weight that most people outside Bhiwani district have never heard of.

Tosham is 29 kilometres from Bhiwani. Primarily rural - 92% of the subdivision lives in villages. No railway station. Sixty villages across 661 square kilometres of Aravalli foothill terrain.

Families here want the same thing families across Haryana want: a Sainik School seat, a defence career, a uniform for their child. The ambition isn't different. The preparation gap is the same as everywhere else - and in a largely rural sub-division with limited coaching infrastructure, it's wider than average.

This is the situation that online preparation was designed for.

What AISSEE Requires - The Full Picture for Tosham Families

The exam structure

NTA. Every January. Class 6 - age 10-12, March 31 cutoff. Class 9 - age 13-15, March 31 cutoff. Both have the Intelligence section. Both require the same preparation approach.

State quota - Tosham children compete within Haryana only. Sainik School Rewari is accessible from this part of the state. Sainik School Kunjpura in Karnal is the second option. The structural advantage is real.

The section that decides most outcomes

Four sections in Class 6 AISSEE ↗. Three - Maths, English, GK - respond partially to school preparation. One - Intelligence - requires specific training that school never provides.

For Tosham's rural families, where school infrastructure is more limited than in urban Haryana, the Intelligence gap is often wider than in better-resourced districts. Wider gap means a bigger preparation opportunity - a well-prepared Tosham child closes the gap entirely and competes equally with children from urban centres.

The Intelligence Section - What Each Sub-Type Requires

Pattern recognition - the core skill

Every Intelligence question is fundamentally a pattern recognition task.

For figure sequences: the child sees a series of images, each transformed from the previous by a hidden rule. The task is to identify the rule and predict the next figure.

For number sequences as patterns: similar - the rule is hidden in the sequence, not stated.

School trains rule application - known rule, apply it. AISSEE tests rule derivation - hidden rule, find it. These are cognitively different operations. Rule application is trainable through revision. Rule derivation is trainable only through specific pattern exposure.

What "specific pattern exposure" means practically: the child sees 20 examples of a particular pattern type (say, "each figure rotates 90° clockwise and gains one element"). After 20 examples, the pattern is instinctive - the child recognises this type in two seconds. Without those 20 examples, the child reasons from scratch in 30-40 seconds and is often wrong.

AISSEE uses approximately 25-30 distinct pattern types across its question bank. A child who has trained on all 25-30 types can handle any pattern recognition question in January. A child who hasn't trained approaches each one fresh.

Training time: 8-10 weeks to cover all types at functional accuracy. Starting in April - complete by June, three months of consolidation and continued practice before October mocks.

Number series - the recognition speed problem, unpacked

Tosham's agricultural families produce children with strong practical arithmetic. Adding, subtracting, multiplying in the context of farming and livestock. This is a genuine foundation.

The AISSEE number series problem is specific: children can solve the series but can't solve it fast enough.

Look at this series: 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, ?

A child who methodically calculates differences: 2, 3, 4, 5 - the differences increase by 1 each time, so next difference is 6, next term is 21. This works. It takes 45 seconds.

A child who recognises this as "triangular numbers" - 1, 1+2, 1+2+3, 1+2+3+4... - identifies the next term in eight seconds.

Both children have the same underlying Maths ability. One of them has trained on triangular numbers as a recognised type. The other hasn't.

Across 15+ series types (arithmetic, geometric, triangular, square, cube, Fibonacci, mixed, alternating, second-order AP, prime-based, and others), the trained child averages 10-15 seconds per series. The untrained child averages 45-70 seconds - and AISSEE allows approximately 45 per question total including reading time.

Weekly number series practice from April, covering all 15+ types systematically, builds the recognition library. Two months of weekly practice produces functional recognition. Four months produces confident recognition.

Analogies - what Tosham children specifically need to know

Three types, three very different training needs.

Verbal analogies: Relationship identification using Hindi and Haryanvi vocabulary. Tosham's Hindi-medium background is genuinely helpful here - strong mother-tongue vocabulary transfers to verbal analogy performance. Children here typically score 65-75% on verbal analogies without specific training. Starting point is better than average.

Numerical analogies: 3 : 9 :: 5 : 25 (squares). 2 : 6 :: 4 : 12 (triple). 8 : 2 :: 32 : 8 (quarter). The relationship type - not the calculation - is what needs to be recognised. Training on numerical relationship types (squares, cubes, multiples, fractions, reciprocals) builds the recognition library. Without training: 30-40% accuracy from guessing. With six weeks of training: 70-75%.

Logical/figure analogies: A figure transforms according to a rule; the same rule applies to a new figure. Shading changes, rotation applies, element count increases, reflection occurs. No language or Maths background helps here. Pure visual pattern reasoning. Starting point for all untrained children: 20-25% accuracy. After six weeks of targeted practice: 65-70%.

The combined analogy improvement from targeted training: 10-15 marks above untrained baseline.

Spatial reasoning - why Aravalli foothills children have an underrated advantage

Here is something specific to Tosham.

Children who grow up in hilly, geologically complex terrain - navigating slopes, understanding how ridges relate to valleys, working with three-dimensional landforms daily - often have stronger innate spatial cognition than children from flat plains.

The Aravalli foothills around Tosham are not dramatic mountains. But they are spatially complex compared to the flat Indo-Gangetic plain. Children from Tosham's agricultural hill families often have spatial reasoning foundations that children from flat agricultural plains don't.

This matters because spatial reasoning is the Intelligence sub-type where the gap between innate foundation and trained performance is most pronounced. Children with strong spatial foundations who receive six weeks of AISSEE spatial training often improve faster and further than children from flat-terrain backgrounds.

What AISSEE spatial reasoning tests: mental rotation of abstract geometric figures, cube net construction, mirror images, paper folding. These are format-specific skills that need training. But the underlying spatial capacity that Tosham's terrain environment builds is a real head start.

GK - Rural Haryana Advantages and Gaps

What Tosham children typically know well: Agricultural geography, local and regional political awareness, Haryana's defence culture. These transfer to parts of AISSEE GK.

What needs targeted coverage:

Constitutional specifics: Article numbers, constitutional bodies, specific amendments. Not embedded in rural knowledge culture. Must be explicitly studied.

Defence organisation: Command headquarters, rank structures, modern military operations. General awareness of military service ≠ specific factual knowledge. Targeted study adds 6-10 marks.

Science GK: Inventors, discoveries, acronyms. Unrelated to agricultural or political awareness. Specific AISSEE GK coverage required.

Current affairs in AISSEE format: Names, positions, announcements as static facts. Needs weekly mock practice to build retention.

Systematic GK preparation from April - area by area, tested weekly - adds 10-15 marks over general knowledge.

English - The Rural Challenge

Tosham is 92% rural. Hindi-medium. English primarily as a school subject.

AISSEE English comprehension - short dense passages, precise inference, time pressure - is the section where rural Haryana children consistently lose the most marks without specific preparation.

Eight months from April is sufficient to close this gap systematically for most Tosham children. The improvement arc: months 1-3, reading speed builds to functional level. Months 4-6, inference precision develops. Months 7-8, competitive performance on comprehension passages under timed conditions.

Three months from October produces a partial arc. January arrives before inference precision consolidates.

Maths

Class 5 level concepts. AISSEE architectural misleads targeting confident calculators. Weekly mock practice from April builds format awareness. Tosham's agricultural arithmetic strength is a genuine foundation - the specific AISSEE framing is what needs to be learned.

SainikGuru's Programme

Eight students per batch. One specialist per section. Weekly mocks from month one. Real AISSEE format. Real OMR. Real time. Section-wise diagnosis after every mock.

For Tosham children specifically: the first mock typically shows strong verbal analogy performance (Hindi vocabulary advantage), adequate number arithmetic, and significant gaps on spatial reasoning, figure analogies, and English comprehension. That profile in April - 20 weeks to correct. That profile in November - too late for full correction.

Honest parent conversation in October. OMR practice from day one. Medical round throughout.

The Exam

Class 6 - Age 10-12. March 31 cutoff. Class 9 - Age 13-15. March 31 cutoff.

Check the birth date now. One day past March 31 - full year's wait.

Online Coaching - 60 Villages, No Railway

Tosham subdivision has 60 villages, no railway, and limited local coaching infrastructure.

The online batch is not a compromise - it's the delivery mechanism that makes specific AISSEE preparation accessible from any village in the subdivision. Same teachers. Same weekly mocks. Same section-wise diagnosis. Live classes on fixed days. Recordings all week. WhatsApp for doubts.

A student from a village near the Aravalli foothills and one in Bhiwani city - identical preparation.

Families from other states compare notes - some checking Sainik school coaching in Telangana fees - because when preparation works, the village name stops mattering.

April or October

April - eight months. All training arcs complete. January - child walks in prepared.

October - three months. All training arcs start but don't finish. January arrives mid-process.

Same paper. One child's preparation was complete. One child's wasn't.

Plainly

No guaranteed selections. Full programme. Real mocks. Individual attention. Honest updates.

Tosham Hill relays signals for six district police headquarters. It works because the setup is correct - the right equipment, in the right position, properly maintained. AISSEE preparation works the same way.

After that - your child and the paper.
