The Exam - What It Actually Tests

Four subjects: Maths, GK, Language and Intelligence. 150 minutes. 125 questions. 300 marks.

Maths carries 150 marks - 50 questions at 3 marks each. That is half the total paper. GK, Language and Intelligence are 50 marks each.

The content is CBSE ↗ Class 5 curriculum. Familiar for most children. The difficulty is not the topics.

The difficulty is managing all four subjects in one sitting on an OMR sheet under a running clock. A child from Wayanad who has never done a full-length timed mock test will almost certainly make avoidable errors on exam day. Not from lack of knowledge - from lack of practice.
